KING Charles owns castles and palaces across the UK - did you know he also has a “dracula”-style Transylvanian property too?
The monarch first visited Romania in the nineties and fell in love with the country so much that he now makes an annual visit there and owns a holiday home.
Royal fans can even stay in the exact guest house that Charles owns and rents out to people looking to explore the Zalán Valley.
The Prince of Wales's Guesthouse may look like a humble lodge from the outside, but it’s where the royal stays when he’s holidaying away from the likes of Buckingham Palace.
His own room - The Prince’s Room - is even available to rent, and comes with a king-size double/twin bed, dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with bath-tub.
Aside from this, there are seven other rooms spread over a cluster of quaint cottages.

Prince George even gets a sweet mention at the property, as there is a wildflower field named after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest son in the grounds.
While the guesthouse may have a wealthy owner, stays thankfully come with an affordable price tag,
One night will set you back around £100 to £300, depending on room size and board basis.
While the location of the royal property may seem random, there is a historical family tie.
Charles’s maternal great-great-great-grandmother Klaudia Rhedey was from the region and married into German royalty to become the Princess of Teck.
Charles was reported to have first visited the region in 1998 when he was Prince of Wales, he actually started going as early as 1993, during one of the most difficult periods of his life.
His marriage to Princess Diana had just collapsed, and he found solace in his rural retreat.
The Sun got a sneak peek inside the royal lodging, which revealed it to be in keeping with the new King’s simple tastes.

An ornate antique oak double bed, matching bedside tables and a writing desk were among the few adornments beneath a crucifix above the bed — possibly in a bid to ward off vampires.
The King was expected to stay at the property on June 7 this year, with his room priced at around £112-a-night around that period.
