It turns out that you can stay on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk just like the royal family in a beautiful Airbnb that is available to rent.

The royal family have the property listed on the popular rental platform called the Garden House which is “nestled in the heart” of the estate.

The four-bedroom pad used to belong to the Queen's head gardener and is just a stone’s throw away from the impressive Sandringham House itself.

Famously the royal family - including Kate Middleton and Prince William - flock to spend the festive period at Sandringham.

Staying in the Airbnb could be the closest way to experience how the other half live, and it doesn’t cost a fortune either.

The pad will set you back between £237 and £354 per night, and up to eight guests can stay, plus pets are welcome.

Guests are able to explore the main Sandringham House during certain times of the year, although Christmas is exempt from this given the estate’s royal visitors.

The late Queen Elizabeth first opened the property up to the public in 1977 during her Silver Jubilee year.

Visitors will also be "within easy walking distance of the Sandringham Visitors’ Centre and the Sandringham Café & Coffee Shop (providing high quality, locally sourced menus)."

According to the “This charming detached Norfolk hideaway, owned by HM The King, nestled within the heart of her much-loved Sandringham Estate country retreat and the closest estate property to Sandringham House itself, is all about an appreciation of the great outdoors and the beautiful gardens it sits within.

“Formerly HM Queen Elizabeth's head gardener's home, as you would expect, the gardens are a sheer delight and provide a superb setting for this idyllic house.

“There is a choice of super-king or twin beds in two bedrooms (please specify on booking).

“The functional kitchen boasts an Aga and there is a comfortable sitting room overlooking the gorgeous garden, which is ideal for relaxing.”

We previously shared how the royal family spend Christmas at Sandringham, including feasting, black tie events and even beer pong.

The Garden House isn’t the only rental property the royal family has listed.

Royal fans can also stay in eight holiday cottages at which was said to be the late Queen’s favourite estate.
