MEGA WATT SMILE

Meghan Markle beams as she’s seen for first time since royal ‘racism’ storm and sends secret sign to Charles

Meghan's choice of accessories was her way of saying 'I've won', expert claims

MEGHAN Markle has been spotted for the first time since the royal "racism" storm - beaming as she walked on the streets of Santa Barbara.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, had a smile from ear to ear as she stepped out for some exercise near her and Prince Harry's home.

It was the first time Meghan has been seen since Omid Scobie's book Endgame hit shelves.

Meghan was sporting family heirlooms along with her gym gear and baseball cap.

She was wearing a Bentley & Skinner tennis bracelet - featuring ninety-two round brilliant-cut diamonds - which was thought to be a gift from King Charles.

The Duchess was first seen wearing it on the eve of her wedding in 2018.

Meghan was also pictured wearing a watch that once belonged to Princess Diana.

The reason she wore the jewellery has divided opinion - with some saying it's a sweet nod or a peace offering.

Royal expert Angela Levin said she believed Meghan chose the jewellery to "show she'd won".

She told The Sun: “I think she’s wearing it as a sign of victory - it’s not to say: ‘I’m really sorry’.

“I think it’s a nasty, spiteful thing.

“I thought if there was going to be an apology she would have got it out straight away - it looks as if she won’t.”

Meghan was snapped before King Charles and Princess Kate saw each other for the first time since the row kicked off.

The smiling royals put on a united front at a pre-Christmas event for 500 members of the Diplomatic Corps.

The storm erupted after Scobie's bombshell book claimed there were two royals accused of being racist.

It came after an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, the Sussexes alleged an unnamed member of the Royal Family spoke about their son's skin colour.

Then, early last week, it was revealed the Dutch translation of Endgame included the names of Princess Kate and the King.

Piers Morgan then identified the royal pair on his TalkTV show last Wednesday night, saying the names were already circulating abroad.

Scobie, 42, has repeatedly tried to defend himself in interviews, insisting he never named the royals in his writing.

In one interview he was close to tears as he denied he was a mouthpiece for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and claimed he was a victim of unfair treatment.

But he's been blasted for peddling "bulls**t" excuses, while translators claimed the names were in the manuscript they were sent.

The story of the discussion around Archie's skin appears to have changed a number of times.

No evidence has ever been produced and Harry subsequently said there was no allegation of "racism".

Instead, they have focused on "unconscious bias" in the Royal Family.
