THIS is the awkward moment Prince Harry was told to drop a hockey puck by a star - as he was too busy smiling for photos.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle watched the ice hockey game from the VIP box at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada yesterday evening.
He performed the ceremonial puck drop kicking off the clash between the Vancouver Canucks and the San Jose Sharks.
But Sharks captain Tomas Hertl said there was an awkward moment out on the ice.
Holding the puck, Harry posed for photographers with the two smiling captains at the halfway line.
But it was not until Hertl turned to him and gently gave him a reminder that he dropped the puck.

Hertl told local media: "I actually had to tell him to drop the puck because he kept holding it and smiling.
"I said, 'It's time to drop it' - but it was a cool moment. For sure I will remember that one."
Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet said: "I gave him a fist bump, I don't know if you're allowed to do that.
"I did it, he did it. He kind of looked at me but he did it."

But Harry is not the first royal to drop the ceremonial puck at a Vancouver Canucks game.
The late Queen also performed the honour when the same teams played back in 2002 while she was on an 11-day tour of Canada.
Her Majesty and Prince Philip watched the first period with ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, before leaving at the break.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan "would love to" spend Christmas in the UK but "haven't been invited" by King Charles, a pal has claimed.
