US President Joe Biden calls King Charles to send heartfelt message of condolence from abroad
JOE Biden called King Charles this afternoon to convey his heartfelt condolences on the passing of the Queen.
The US President hailed Her Majesty for deepening the special bond between Britain and the States.
In his first phone call with Charles as King, Mr Biden recalled the late monarch's “heartfelt kindness” when she hosted him and wife Jill at Windsor Castle last June.
The President also said that Americans deeply admire the Queen, whose “dignity and constancy” helped two great nations grow ever closer.
Mr and Mrs Biden will jet to London for Her Majesty’s state funeral on Monday.
Around 500 foreign dignitaries and numerous celebs are expected to attend.

After the state funeral, the beloved Queen’s coffin will travel in Procession to Wellington Arch.
Then it will then be sent to St George’s chapel in Windsor castle for a Committal Service.

Before the funeral the Queen will lie in state at Westminster Hall for four days, beginning at 5pm today,
Millions of mourners are expected to file past her coffin and queues could exceed 20 hours long, stretching 10 miles.
