As the royals viewed tributes to the Queen, the Duchess of Sussex put a comforting arm around Harry as the couple grieved with the nation.

William, who with Kate was last night given the title Prince and Princess of Wales by King Charles, was the one to offer the olive branch to his younger brother that led to today's touching scenes.
