Prince Andrew ‘laughed his head off’ during car-crash BBC interview on links to paedo Jeffrey Epstein
PRINCE Andrew is said to have laughed during his controversial sex claims telly interview.
A BBC photo of him “laughing his head off” has been described as “jaw-dropping”.
His reaction during the Newsnight interview is likely to spark fresh discomfort for the Royal Family.
The photo was taken during Andrew’s 2019 interview with Emily Maitlis, during which she quizzed him on allegations of underage sex and his links to paedo pal Jeffrey Epstein.
Earlier this month, BBC photographer Mark Harrison claimed the snap would “embarrass” the royals.
A source said: “It’s a still picture showing Emily interviewing Andrew. You can see his face and he’s laughing.

“People will feel it was reckless for him to laugh during such a sensitive interview.
“But he probably didn’t realise the seriousness or consequences of laughing or how it would look on camera.
“You have to bear in mind that after the interview, he thought it had gone very well — only to be subsequently hit by a wave of negative reaction.”
The snap could appear in a book about the interview written by former Newsnight producer Sam McAlister.
A film is also in the pipeline.
Andrew, 62, stepped down as a senior royal after his car crash chat with Maitlis, 51.
He was ridiculed over claims he was at a Pizza Express in Woking the night he is said to have been with Virginia Giuffre and that he cannot sweat.
Andrew is thought to have paid up to £12million to settle out of court with Ms Giuffre.
His spokeswoman declined to comment.
