Piers Morgan mocks Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Time magazine pictures after ‘absolutely baffling’ cover
PIERS Morgan has mocked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Time magazine photoshoot - while royal experts called the cover "absolutely baffling".
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's inclusion on the world's 100 most influential people list was called into question as they were slammed for their past contradictions.
The journalist was first to stick the knife into their achievements by sharing the cover, accompanied by an excerpt from the article - with eight laughing emojis.
Harry and Meghan's friend, Spanish chef José Andrés, wrote: "In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know.
"They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle."
The statement proved to amuse Piers, who shared his latest swipe at the couple on Twitter.
But it seems he is not the only one confused with Meghan and Harry making the cover - and the esteemed list - as royal experts said it was an "extraordinary misjudgment" by Time magazine.
Royal biographer Angela Levin told The Sun Online: "Sure they did some good things, absolutely.

"But if you're saying they are the world's most influential people, you have to take into account the negative.
"I don’t see how you can crown someone as influential when they are so bitter and angry with her in-laws and his own family, while spouting out criticism which has often been found out to be a lie.
"It’s absolutely baffling."
She added: "The lies, the disrespect they have shown to a woman of 95 - one of the most respected women in the world, who recently lost her husband - just because they don't like some of the things she's said and done.
"It’s absolutely appalling. The world’s most influential people? Surely not on the values of family."
The royal commentator went on to highlight Meghan and Harry's inconsistencies over the years.
"They might have done a very good job for climate change but they fly whenever they want to by private plane," she continued.
"SHOCKING"
"Is that an influential thing?
"Is it compassion? They haven’t been too compassionate with a lot of people.
"I just think it's the most extraordinary misjudgment of the magazine. Twisting it for the people. It's just shocking.
"I just don't understand that within 100 people, how they could come into it. "
But royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes the couple are instead trying to insert Meghan into the political sphere with the cover shoot.
He said: "This magazine cover has made it very very clear what's in the couple's mind - and especially Meghan's mind - and that’s politics. It must be!
"I think there is absolutely no doubt that if they made the cover it's not about what they've achieved, but what they could achieve.
