Harry & Meghan slammed by Dumbarton locals after rejecting its name as Archie’s title as it contains the word ‘dumb’
HARRY and Meghan have been blasted by the people of Dumbarton for rejecting its name as a title for son Archie as it contains the word “dumb”.
It is slang for “stupid” in the US — where the snowflake Sussexes live — and they reportedly feared it could lead to bullying.

A source said: “They were worried about how that might look.”
Prince Harry, 36, was made Earl of Dumbarton after he married Meghan in 2018 and the title of Scottish nobility can be passed to his first-born son, now aged two.
Local Ann Proudfoot, 63, said: “Not giving Archie the title is going to alienate them even more from Scotland. It’s an offence to everybody living here.”
Sophie Clifford, 24, a customer services worker, added: “I’m a big fan of Harry and Meghan, so this is so disappointing and hurtful.”
Admin worker Deborah Jardine, 45, said: “They’re dumb themselves for not giving him the title for that ridiculous reason.”
Bottle plant worker Raymond Stewart, 53, said: “I’m proud to be from Dumbarton.” Harry and Meghan, 39, who is also Countess of Dumbarton, have never visited the town since the Queen gave them their titles.

Local May McGarry, 54, a radiographer, said: “Dumbarton is a town full of culture and history, they would know that if they’d ever taken the time to visit.”
The Sussexes and Buckingham Palace have not commented.
THE Queen is off to Scotland with Prince William and Princess Anne for the Holyrood Week celebrations, starting on Monday.
