PRINCE Harry has become a ‘moaning victim’ who is editing out all the good the Royal family have done for him, according to his biographer.
Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince, believes that his complaints about Charles being a bad parent and their fallout being connected to the queen are largely groundless.
Here, she analyses Harry’s recent gripes and gives them a moan rating.
Angela tells us: “When I spent 15 months with Harry, he was charming and full of mischief. He has changed to become this moaning victim.”
She also fears that his latest comments, made on the Armchair Podcast, were “a publicity stunt” to attract more attention.
Charles the 'bad parent'
Moan rating: 10/10
Harry complained in his most recent rant: “I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered."
But Angela points out: “A couple of years ago Harry guest edited Radio 4’s Today programme and chose to invite on his father.
“They talked very lovingly as father and son. There was a warmth there. So it is extraordinary for Harry to now suggest otherwise.

He is reconstructing his own life to be a victim
Angela Levin
“During his engagement interview Harry said he had invited Meghan to the Royal’s family Christmas at Sandringham, because ‘this was the family she had never had.’
“Why do that if they are such a rotten family? He is reconstructing his own life to be a victim.”
Charles 'damaged' by the queen
Moan rating: 10/10
Harry said Charles’s issues were “connected” to his parents adding: “so that means he’s treated me the way he was treated.”
Angela says: “Harry does seem to be saying here that Charles was damaged by The Queen and the late Prince Philip’s parenting style.
“There is some truth in the idea that the Queen put her royal duties before her own children and was cool emotionally.
“Prince Philip also displayed the British stiff upper lip rather than show his emotions. So Charles did suffer.
“But Charles didn’t treat Harry the way he was treated by his parents, because while the Queen forbade marrying the woman Charles loved, Charles allowed his children to marry the people they had chosen.
“When you know your father and grandmother are still grieving the loss of Philip this isn’t the time to attack them."
Searching for freedom in LA
Moan rating: 4/10
Harry said that in Los Angeles: “I can take Archie on the back of my bicycle, I would never have had the chance to do that.”
Angela says: “There are pictures of Harry on the back of his bike as a child going on cycle rides with his parents.
“And if he wanted to escape the goldfish bowl, Los Angeles is a strange place to go.
“The city is a hotspot for paparazzi and the United States affords more freedom to the press than it does in the United Kingdom.
“There were lots of wealthy friends in Britain with big sprawling private homes where he could hide from the cameras.”
Life like the Truman Show
Moan rating: 10/10
Harry said being in the Royal family was “like being in the Truman Show.”
Angela says: “I don’t think it is true that Harry didn’t escape from the prying eyes of the media.
“Harry and Meghan were left alone on their honeymoon, they have had lots of private holidays.
“Now, they are asking for publicity all the time. If they didn’t speak on podcasts and TV shows the whole time, they wouldn’t receive all this press.
“There are also suggestions that Meghan and Harry are leaking details of his conversations with Royals, so that sounds hypocritical.”
The Royals are 'trapped'
Moan rating: 5/10
Harry claimed that Prince Charles and Prince William are “trapped” by their Royal life.
Angela says: “If Harry had said he wanted to go live in Africa and do charitable work, the Queen would have supported that decision.
I don't believe that Harry was forced to follow a certain path
Angela Levin
“I don’t believe that Harry was forced to follow a certain path.
“How can he think he is not privileged when he lives in this huge mansion in California with 16 bedrooms and eight bathrooms and a swimming pool?
“He may not like being a Prince, but he can’t claim that all the opportunities he’s receiving now, such as these podcasts, don’t have anything to do with his Royal status.”
Paying for their own security
Moan rating: 4/10
Harry said: “I never thought I would have my security removed.”
Angela says: “Initially Charles did pay for security for Harry and Meghan out of his own pocket.
“It cost him a fortune because they needed eight people with them around the clock.
“Harry’s treatment isn’t actually different from most of the Queen’s grandchildren.
“Security was taken away from Prince Andrew’s daughters, so he decided to pay for it himself. He wanted to protect his girls.
“Princess Anne’s children don’t have guards either.”
A cash strapped multi-millionaire
Moan rating: 8/10
Harry whinged during the Oprah Winfrey interview: "My family literally cut me off financially”.
For them nothing is ever enough
Angela Levin
Angela says: “Prince Charles has given Harry and Meghan a lot of money since they decided to leave the United Kingdom for North America.
“He didn’t want them to worry during their first year outside of the Royal family.
“Charles paid for some of Meghan’s ludicrously expensive clothes.
“For them, nothing is ever enough.
“They said they wanted to be financially independent, but then complained about not being supported financially.”
Harry burying his head in the sand
Moan rating: 6/10
After therapy, Harry said: “I plucked my head out of the sand and gave it a good shake off and I was like, ‘You’re in this position of privilege, stop complaining.”
Angela says: “He told me there was a time when he had his head in his sand and in 2017 he wanted to get away because he felt he wasn’t having enough impact.
“He wanted to go to Africa and work with endangered species and I think he would have done that very well.
