A BUNGLING actor turned politician posted a birthday message to a fan - without realising there was a naked woman behind him.

Viewers were quick to point out the embarrassing blunder and Cesar Montano, 56,  deleted the footage - but not before one fan quipped about the 'insight into his life'.

Montano uploaded the clip to Facebook on Tuesday in which he says ''Happy Birthday Kagawa Chris Morales of Santa Ana".

But as he starts the video message, the woman - who also appears unaware of the camera and is in another room - walks into the shot.

The woman then picks up towels from a sideboard in the bedroom at the actor's home in Manila, Philippines.

She then turns around to face the camera before disappearing from view - but unaware of what's happened, Cesar continues his message in Filipino, finishing with ''love you man''.

But eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out the embarrassing blunder and Cesar, a former government official, deleted the footage.

Local resident Julie Buladaco said: ''The video is too funny. What a silly mistake to make.''

Jeffrie Lipzig added: ''Rule number one when making selfie videos at home, don't let your girlfriend creep into the shot after she has just taken off her clothes.''

Daniel Quintos said: ''Wow, what an insight into his life. I know we like to see what actors do at home, but that's a bit too much.''
