Will Aretha Franklin's funeral be televised?
Singing legend Aretha Franklin will be laid to rest today (Friday, August 31) in her hometown of Detroit, and adoring fans around the world will be able to watch.
As the life of the songstress is celebrated by friends and family, proceedings will be broadcast on television and livestreamed online.
US news sites Fox News and CNN will air live portions of the service.
In the UK, Channel 4 is set to broadcast the Queen of Soul's funeral.
What time does it start?
The service is set to get underway today at 10am local time, which will be 3pm for UK viewers.
The event will feature performances from Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Ronald Isley, Jennifer Hudson, Faith Hill, Fantasia and Yolanda Adam.
The list of speakers will include Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, actress Cicely Tyson, record mogul Clive Davis, Michigan governor Rick Snyder and Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan.
Former US Attorney General Eric Holder will also speak.

The Associated Press have said they will livestream the invite-only funeral on Friday.
Aretha lay in state at Detroit's Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History for two days as fans paid respects.
Her body is set to be transported in Rosa Parks' hearse from the Detroit museum before the funeral at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
The singer will be laid to rest in a glittering gold coffin which has the words "Aretha Franklin the Queen of Soul" embroidered into the fabric on the inside of the lid.
