FLORIDA has become the site of another mass shooting with two people dead, a further ten people suffering gunshot wounds and one person suffering a non-gunshot injury.
The massacre came during a live-stream video of a Madden tournament and police have named the gunman as David Katz. Here's what we know so far.
Gunman David Katz opened fire at the Madden 19 Tournament at Jacksonville Landing, shooting two rivals before turning the gun on himself.
The event was being live streamed at the time and footage circulated online shows the moment shots were fired.
His victims have been named by friends online as married dad Taylor 'SpotMePlzzz' Robertson, 27, and 22-year-old Eli 'Trueboy' Clayton, a rising star of gaming.
Police have not confirmed the identities of those killed but the chilling moment a laser landed on Clayton's chest before shots rang out was captured on the live stream.
Katz, 24, from Baltimore, Maryland, is said to have used at least one handgun to carry out the horrific attack, which also left 11 others injured, police said.
Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said officers were called to the Chicago Pizza restaurant at the Jacksonville Landing entertainment complex at 1.34pm local time.
Shocking audio of the moment the massacre began – in which at least 12 shots rang out - was broadcast to gamers worldwide on live-stream software Twitch.
In the recording, two players can be seen sitting in chairs looking at a screen, chatting and joking, before shots ring out and the screen suddenly goes blank.
The area from Bay Street to Main Street was blocked off to traffic while cops investigated.
Professional gaming team compLexity Gaming confirmed one of its players, Drini Gjoka, was injured while taking part in the event.
CompLexity founder Jason Lake told us: "We're obviously shocked and saddened by this afternoon's events.
"Our player, Drini, was hit in the thumb but is going to be fine.
According to , officials said Katz had legally purchased two weapons in Baltimore over the past month, and one of the weapons had a laser sight that attached to the gun.
The shooting occurred during a qualifying event for the Madden 19 Tournament at the GLHF Game Bar.
It was being streamed online on Twitch, where several loud gunshots were heard before the stream was stopped.
The Twitch stream has been taken offline.
Jacksonville is in the north west of Florida in the United States.
The location where the event was being held was the Jacksonville Landing - a festival marketplace in downtown Jacksonville, Florida.
The complex was opened in 1987 to the cost of $37.5m and helped to revitalise the city.
While the second level of the building was a dedicated food court, the western section eventually became the video arcade.
