A TEENAGE girl who was held captive and repeatedly drugged and raped for three months spoke of her terror last week.

Crystal Allen, 16, only escaped her evil captors after a heroic postman heard her crying.

Now, Crystal has told of her torturous ordeal and had an emotional reunion with the postman.

"They made it impossible. They had guard dogs and people that would watch us all the time and not let us leave. I was tied to chairs," the teenager told KCRA in California.

Crystal, from Placerville, California, ran away from a group home and but was exploited by a pimp in nearby Sacramento.

And months of rape, beatings and drugging followed.

"I just cried all the time and prayed that I'd get to see my mum again."

But Ivan Cristotomo heard some "desperate crying" on his mail route on June 8 and saw Crystal hiding behind a bush.

She had jumped out of her abductor's car in a despairing attempt to flee.

The postman, who is a dad of four himself, said: "She started to point to her arm, saying, 'They were putting things in me. They were putting things in me. They are coming to get me.'"

Crisostomo helped Crystal call her mum, and then let her sit in his post van until police arrived.

Cops say the neighborhood, Oak Park, is a notoriously high crime area, and that the mailcarrier may have prevented the girl from being further victimized by staying with her.

"What Ivan did was wonderful. He stepped up where a lot of people would've just continued driving down the road, and he made a huge positive impact on this young girl's life," deputy police officer David Cuneo told local news site KPIX.

Crystal is currently living in a group home in California and undergoing intense therapy.

There has been no word of any suspects or arrests in the case.
