Hong Kong billionaire takes out full-page adverts to announce split from girlfriend and reveal he’s paid her £200million

HONG Kong tycoon has taken the bizarre step of placing full page adverts in local media to reveal he has split from his girlfriend.

Billionaire Joseph Lau is the 65th richest man in the world and is worth £10billion.

But he announced his former lover Yvonne Lui has received £200million from him.

Lau, 65, said in a statement in a front page ad: "Ms Lui has accumulated considerable wealth, and is now a very wealthy woman.”

Last November the billionaire splashed a record £32million on a Blue Moon diamond.
