THIS is the moment a tourist was terrorised by dive-bombing seagulls as she tried to enjoy her fish and chips on the beach.
Sherilyn Carter, 30, was forced to run around in circles to try to get away from the greedy flock of gulls on Brighton beach.
Sherilyn, from London, was hanging with a group of friends after celebrating her friend's 30th birthday the night before.
Getting some fresh air after the boozy bash, Sherilyn and her pals went for a walk - and treated themselves to fish and chips for lunch.
But the gang was interrupted by the unwelcome flock of seagulls, which circled overhead and dived towards Sherilyn's tasty lunch for 10 minutes.
Sherilyn and her friends were forced to hide near the arcades and under parasols to enjoy their lunch.
The client services worker said: "I was on the beach at Brighton with my friends.
I was terrified - they were flying at eye level and looked me right in the eye

"After my friend's 30th birthday, we all went for a walk. I'd bought some fish and chips that I'd been looking forward to for weeks.
"The thing is, we couldn't eat on the beach as the seagulls kept going for us.
"I was terrified - they were flying at eye level and looked me right in the eye.
"There were about six that kept flying close, but two main ringleaders.
"I was chased for 10 minutes before I got exhausted and went to the arcade.
"We had to hide in the arcade area under the parasols on the pier."
It comes as seagulls are gaining a notorious reputation in Britain for attacking food, humans and other animals.
Experts are now claiming that staring at seagulls will stop them stealing your food, as cases of the birds nicking tasty treats are becoming more frequent.
Last month, Gizmo, a four-year-old chihuahua was allegedly snatched out of a back garden by a vicious gull.
