EuroMillions winner Gillian Bayford marries new man less than year after dumping ‘gold digger’ ex and six years to the day after she scooped £148million jackpot

The 46-year-old got hitched to Brian Deans, 37, in a hush-hush do at a luxury resort near St Andrews

EUROMILLIONS winner Gillian Bayford has tied the knot with her new man in a hush-hush do at a luxury resort.

The 46-year-old mum, who scooped £148m in 2012, wed Brian Deans, 37, at the five-star Fairmont Hotel near St Andrews yesterday.

Gillian got hitched in front of close pals and family less than a year after she dumped ex Gavin Innes for being a “gold digger”.

A source said: “It’s all happened so quickly.”

The bride celebrated her whirlwind wedding exactly six years after scooping the second biggest UK lottery jackpot.

She looked nervous as she prepared to say her marriage vows in the atrium of the swanky venue.

Dressed in white, she walked down a staircase clutching a bouquet of flowers before a friend accompanied her as she walked towards the groom.

Brian was surrounded by his friends, all dressed in kilts for the occasion.

A friend of Gillian — who landed her fortune with ex-husband Adrian — said: “This is six years to the day since they won.”

An onlooker at the wedding said: “Gillian looked slightly pensive. But they obviously pulled out all the stops to make it a traditional wedding. It has been a whirlwind romance.”

Guests later enjoyed a knees-up in the hotel’s Robert Louis Stevenson suite — where it is understood the reception and wedding breakfast were held, with drinks served on a private terrace.

It is believed the bride and groom stayed at the luxury resort the night before the ceremony.

HOTEL VOWS ROMANCE

THE five-star hotel where the couple took their vows promises unforgettable romance.
Fairmont St Andrews, just outside the famous Fife coastal town, has planners on hand to help arrange the perfect nuptials — and ensure dream weddings are “remembered for a lifetime”.
The luxury resort sits on 520 sprawling acres of land, with stunning clifftop views and two championship golf courses.

The hotel boasts 211 posh guestrooms, a spa, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation hub.
On its website, bosses call it “one of the most romantic settings for a wedding venue in Scotland”.

Gillian’s Range Rover was parked in the grounds today. Wedding band Michigan wished the couple well in an online post that said: “Congratulations to Brian and Gillian on your wedding day.”

Romance blossomed again for mum-of-two Gillian, who lives in a mansion in Newport, Fife, just a few months after she split from short-term boyfriend Gavin Innes, 44, last year.

Friends told of their shock at her tying the knot.

One said: “They have only been together since early this year.

"Some people close to her are surprised at how quickly this has happened.

“They knew each other from before.

"They are obviously very private.”

Gillian and Adrian, 47, won their huge fortune in 2012 but their nine-year marriage broke down just 15 months later.

A year on and Gillian had got engaged to car dealer Alan Warnock but the pair split after three years.

She then had a fling with old school pal Gavin Innes but ended it in November after hearing claims he was a gold-digger — which he denied — and that he had made “derogatory” comments behind her back.

Gillian said: “You have to meet a few weasels before you can meet someone nice — a prince or whatever.”
