In these a-meow-sing snaps, much-loved cats prove they can be snug in the most restrictive of resting spots.

Appearing to almost take the shape of any container, these water-like cats show they can take almost any shape.

Squashing into bidets, sinks, jars and even hanging from a couch, it would almost appear as though felines have no spine.

But it's actually because a cat's spine can rotate more than the spines of most other animals, and their vertebrae have a special, flexible, elastic cushioning on the disks, giving it even more flexibility.

With that in mind, cat owners the world over have shared their favourite snaps of their furry friends in the most ridiculous of spaces.
