Jungle flop Kezia Dugdale ‘gagged’ by Labour leader Richard Leonard after I’m a Celebrity stint

KEZIA Dugdale has been given a dressing down and been "gagged" by her successor Richard Leonard for her I'm A Celebrity jaunt, The Scottish Sun can reveal.

Sources confirmed the former Scottish Labour leader was spared suspension but issued with a formal warning today by new Scottish Labour boss after a tense meeting.

And despite plans to speak to media at the Scottish Parliament, she was ordered not to say a word.

Ms Dugdale was driven straight from Glasgow Airport today to Edinburgh where she was grilled on her "unauthorised absence".

She then went to her home in the city - and is due to return to Holyrood before 5pm for a vote.

But a source said: "She has been told she can't speak to media."

Earlier, at the airport, Ms Dugdale said it was "good to be back" in Scotland.

And vowing to speak more at Holyrood, she said: "It was an experience I am never going to forget. I'm obviously going to the parliament now and I will have more to say later on."

The jungle flop was spotted with her suitcase in Oz on Monday before touching down at Glasgow Airport this morning.

We told yesterday how Kez mixed with former campmates including winner Georgia “Toff” Toffolo and Kiosk Keith at the boozy I’m A Celebrity shindig.

But the MSP had vowed to be at Holyrood to vote on the Government’s tax hike plans - where she is likely to face scowls from party colleagues upset by her unauthorised absence.

To cap it off, she got little TV airtime except for trials, including a failed bid to down blended bull penis and ostrich anus, and was second voted out.

Since then she’s been posing for selfies and even posted one with the show’s grim-faced Kiosk Keith.

Kezia has also refused to say what slice of her reputed six-figure fee will go to charity.

Scottish Labour refused to comment, saying a statement would be issued later today.
