The Duchess of Cambridge, with 39 days, worked fewest, just below husband Prince William and his brother, Harry, both 46.

All three do have a string of royal engagements next week with William meeting England’s under-20 World Cup football champions at Kensington Palace and Harry going to see trainee coaches at Man City’s ground.

Prince George, four, will have his first school day at Thomas’s Battersea, in South West London, next Thursday, says Kensington Palace.
