Disgraced footballer Adam Johnson slashes price of five-bed mansion by £150,000
FOOTIE paedo Adam Johnson has slashed the cost of his mansion by £150,000.
The shamed ex-England ace put his five-bed pad up for sale for £1.85m in July after all traces of him were removed.
His photos and football shirts were taken down from the walls of the lavish property — along with his Three Lions caps
But Johnson, 29, who was caged for six years in March for having sex with a 15-year-old fan, struggled to find a buyer.
Now the former Sunderland and Manchester City winger has dropped the asking price to £1.7million.
If sold at that price he would still rake in a £125,000 profit on the plush-pad in County Durham.
Castle Eden mansion sits in 2.2 acres of land and boasts a gym, putting green and personalised cinema room with security fencing and gates.
The former £60,000-a-week winger bought the five-bed home in 2012 and lived there with his girlfriend Stacey Flounders, who was pregnant with their child when he committed sex acts with a schoolgirl.
Stacey, 26, remained faithful to Johnson throughout his trial but reportedly moved out of the home with their one-year-old daughter Ayla weeks after he was found guilty.
Fallen star Johnson put his mansion up for sale when he heard he could not appeal against his sentence in July.
His sister Faye tweeted: "Absolutely devastated. But I can assure every supporter I will never give up."
