Tragically she was murdered yesterday morning alongside her mum Tanysha Drummonds, gran Dolet Hill, 63, and her partner Denton Burke, 58.

Police arrested the suspect, a 28-year-old man from Lewisham, and he is currently being treated in hospital.

He remains in a stable condition and remains under arrest.

Mum of two Lucy Payne, 35, who has lived in the same tower block as Samantha for seven years, said: "I last spoke to her just over a week ago before she left. She didn't want to be here while they were working in her flat.

"Samantha seemed in a good mood and we spoke about the new bathrooms we're getting done.

"She told me she was going to take her cat to her aunt's as we've both got cats and we spoke about what colour schemes we had gone for. Hers was supposed to be finished by the end of this week but she sadly never got to see it finished."

Neighbours reported hearing screams coming from a woman in the early hours of the morning as the "bloodbath" unfolded.

The family were discovered after armed police forced their way in following reports of a "disturbance".
