Tragic granddaughter, 27, knifed to death alongside 3 family members had only moved in a week ago
A TRAGIC granddaughter stabbed to death alongside three family members had only moved in a week before the slaughter, neighbours revealed today.
Samantha Drummonds, 27, was only spending time at the home in Southwark, South East London, while her flat was being renovated.
Tragically she was murdered yesterday morning alongside her mum Tanysha Drummonds, gran Dolet Hill, 63, and her partner Denton Burke, 58.
Police arrested the suspect, a 28-year-old man from Lewisham, and he is currently being treated in hospital.
He remains in a stable condition and remains under arrest.
Mum of two Lucy Payne, 35, who has lived in the same tower block as Samantha for seven years, said: "I last spoke to her just over a week ago before she left. She didn't want to be here while they were working in her flat.
"Samantha seemed in a good mood and we spoke about the new bathrooms we're getting done.

"She told me she was going to take her cat to her aunt's as we've both got cats and we spoke about what colour schemes we had gone for. Hers was supposed to be finished by the end of this week but she sadly never got to see it finished."
Neighbours reported hearing screams coming from a woman in the early hours of the morning as the "bloodbath" unfolded.
The family were discovered after armed police forced their way in following reports of a "disturbance".
Met Police today confirmed officers Tasered the suspect after three generations of the same "amazing" family were wiped out.
Dolet, originally from Lyssons in Saint Thomas, Jamaica, was undergoing treatment for cancer, it has emerged.
The gran worked at nearby Guy's Hospital and was a dedicated churchgoer.

Tracey Henry, another of her daughters, is said to be "devastated" by her loss.

"Why it happened we just don't know. It's a really bad time for us all."
Leanca Levy, 36, used to listen to music with pal Samantha, who would help her carry bags to her flat while awaiting spinal surgery. The resident of 11 years said: "Samantha was an amazing young lady with a brilliant sense of humour and a wicked taste in music.
"We would be listening to her favourite R&B, bashment and dancehall tunes and I would ask her what the track was to add to my playlist.
"She was kind and caring to me as a disabled person and has helped me countless times carrying my shopping up stairs when the lifts weren't working.
"Samantha had lived here for almost five years and no one had a bad word to say about her throughout that time."
Tributes were also paid to other victims, with Dolet's niece Venecia Reid saying: "She was very loving, very kind, very generous.
"She worked very hard in this country to support her two girls and her two grandkids. She does not deserve this."
Met Chief Supt Colin Wingrove confirmed the victims died at the “dreadful” scene despite the efforts of police and paramedics.
He confirmed a man was arrested at the home on suspicion of murder and said detectives were not seeking anyone else.
