Salt Bae vows to return to London Nusr-Et restaurant after revealing he is leaving capital today
SALT Bae has vowed to return to his pricy London restaurant soon - after revealing he is jetting out of the capital TODAY.
Turkish-born internet icon Nusret Gökçe announced last week that he was leaving Nusr-Et in posh Knightsbridge for Saudi Arabia to open his newest outpost.
But, the chef has told his cash-splashing clients that he "would be back soon" - and has no-doubt the restaurant will thrive without its salt-sprinkling figurehead.
Diner Magnus Larson - who ate at the upmarket eatery over the weekend - told the Sun: "Nusret said he was sad to be leaving but insisted he would be back soon.
"He said London was one of his favourite cities and that he wanted to see more of England and take his restaurant around the country.
"He said the response has been amazing from customers and that he is confident his restaurant will continue to do well after he departs for Saudi Arabia."
Salt Bae revealed that today is his last day in London before he jets abroad.
He wrote on Instagram: "Sunday is my last day in London. I want to see you beautiful people before I go."

Nusret tucked into a lavish farewell dinner with staff in pictures shared this weekend.
He also posted a group shot of all his staff along with the caption: "We did it".
The move means the butcher-turned-chef won't be around to slice steaks and show off his salt-smattering skills tableside for adoring fans like Wayne and Coleen Rooney.
Deep-pocketed foodies have previously paid £250 for prime reservations at the Knightsbridge eatery, with the chain recently under fire for allegedly treating staff poorly.
Workers said the the 38-year-old's chain of restaurants are "ruled by fear" and the company didn't "care about employees".
A server in Miami said: "Give a crap about your staff and not just money. Maybe let the staff actually taste the food we sell for you? Let us see our tips and how they're distributed. Stop being sketchy about everything."
Another person added: "Not enough hours, passive aggressive clients."
And another said the firm was "ruled by fear" and added: "Company doesn't care about employees."
The Sun has approached Nurs-Et restaurants and Nusret Gökçe for comment.
The menu features a £1,450 gold-gilded tomahawk steak, another £630 hunk of beef and a £100 burger - among other mega-expensive menu items.
The chef even charges £9 for a single glass of coke.
