A DAD claims he found a "fried cockroach" among chips in his McDonald's quarter pounder meal.
"Sickened" Kris Hatton was working a long night shift when he ordered the meal from the Aylesford branch in Kent last night.
As he tucked in, the 41-year-old first assumed he'd grabbed a hard burnt chip but was horrified to see it was actually a cooked cockroach nestling in his chips.
Stunned Kris told The Sun Online: "I was working the night shift and went down at 2am after ordering a sprite, quarter pounder, cheeseburger and fries on the app.
"I put my hand on the chip and it felt hard and I just thought it was a burnt chip but then I realised it wasn't, it was a cockroach.
"It made me feel sick. The thought of cockroaches running around the kitchen and inside in my burger, I didn't want it after that.
He drove back into the McDonald's drive-through to complain and was met with a apologetic manager who promised him two free meals and an investigation as to how the unlucky cockroach snuck into the fryer.
'I WAS SO ANGRY'
"I was so angry, I went back and told the manager, he was so apologetic and offered me two free meals but I didn't want another McDonald's ever.
"I'd already wasted 20 minutes of my dinner break eating half of it and rushing back and to find out why there was a cockroach in my dinner, so I didn't want anymore."
"But he couldn’t apologise enough, he said he'd take hold of this and it send it to HR and speak to people on the front counter and see what happened."
A regular customer going around three times a week, Kris who works as printer, has vowed to never get another McDonald's again.
"It's put me off so much, it was so sickening. I go there often but honestly I don't think I’ll ever go back, not Aylesford not anywhere."
"It's a packed lunch or a Co-op sandwich from now on."
On showing the grim video to his partner and kids, 8 and 9, they were also "quite sickened".
