THIS studio flat that was on the market for a whopping £125,000 has left house-hunters baffled with its makeshift 'bedroom.'
The property in Worthing, West Sussex, boasts of "built in bed over the stairs" - meaning unlucky sleepers could roll over and fall down straight down the staircase.
The photograph of the unique design has baffled users on Twitter - causing many to moan about the state of the British property market.
Instead of being on the floor or in a separate room, the double bed has been elevated OVER the staircase.
There is even a step ladder in the listing's photographs.
One person said on Twitter: "How is that bed legal, you roll over and you DIE."
Another mimicked the letting agent, saying: "“Don’t worry you won’t die if you roll over at night because we’ve nailed a shelf to the ceiling to stop you that’ll be a hundred and twenty five thousand pounds please.”
For some who are deep sleepers and usually roll about at night, this property might not be for you.
A third person pointed out that there was "perfectly adequate" space on the floor for the bed, questioning the baffling logistics of the studio flat.
Another users said sarcastically : "For only 125.000 you can risk falling to your death while you sleep! you're not gonna get a better deal that this!"
