Johnny Depp passed out covered in ice cream in shock pic as Amber Heard told him: ‘Look what you’ve become’
A SHOCKING photo shown to court today shows Johnny Depp passed out and covered in ice cream - causing Amber Heard to brand him "pathetic".
The Hollywood star can be seen dozing with his mouth wide open and the treat "all over him" on the day he was due to enter rehab, it was said.
He is sitting cross-legged on a leather sofa propped up by a mismatch of pillows.
Wearing a shirt and braces, the actor is said to be passed out with his mouth wide open.
The High Court heard today:
- Johnny Depp claimed Amber Heard was the aggressor in the relationship
- The actor claimed he contracted a bacterial infection after severing his finger in Australia
- Depp denied he had been violent to his then wife on their honeymoon
- The Pirates of the Caribbean star was told he had lost $650million before going to his wife's 30th birthday
- Depp's former assistant Stephen Deuters denied the actor was "acting like a monster" on a 2014 flight
- Heard sent herself an email after the alleged plane row saying Depp had called her a "w***e"
Depp is holding an upturned tub of ice cream, which has dripped all over his leg, in the photo shown to the High Court today.
The melted ice cream has also dripped over the sofa and on to the floor in a sticky pool.
Amber Heard showed him in the image in August 2014 to show him how "pathetic" he had become, it was said.
Depp today claimed in evidence he was working long days when the picture was taken on the flight from Boston.
He said: "There was one photograph that Miss Heard showed me from Boston.
“I was preparing to go to the Bahamas to detox from the opiates and I had been working 17 hours a day prior to that.
“She asked me to hold her tub of ice cream. I have my right hand in my pocket and I’m holding the ice cream in the other.
"I was obviously on the nod and very tired, falling asleep, and the ice cream then spilled all over my leg and then she took that … and showed me the next day and said 'Look at what you've become … look at you, it's pathetic'."
The Edward Scissorhands star today finished giving evidence after a mammoth 23 hours on the stand.
The star is suing The Sun for referring to him as a "wife-beater" in a 2018 article.
The court heard earlier how Depp grabbed Heard by the hair and chucked a magnum of champagne at her when he discovered he had lost $650million.
Depp allegedly hurled the bottle, grabbed her hair and threw her on their bed, before leaving a note saying “Happy f***ing birthday” in April 2016 - her 30th birthday bash.
But giving evidence at the High Court today, the actor claims the couple rowed when he discovered he had lost $650million (£515million) in an "unpleasant and ugly" business meeting.
Depp said: "I was in the early stage of learning from my recently acquired new business manager that the former business managers had (taken) quite a lot of my money. They had stolen my money."
The court was told Depp raked in the "ludicrous" amount since starring in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
He earlier today spoke of a "secret" recording of the pair talking in July 2016, where the actor is heard telling his ex "you f***ing haymakered me, man"'.
Depp also says "you came around the bed to f***ing start punching on me" in the exchange.
When asked a "haymaker" was, Depp replied: "It's just a type of wild swinging… kind of a roundhouse punch, as it were. It's a bit of a wild swing, but effective if it reaches the target."
The actor also claimed he contracted the superbug MRSA after severing his finger in a row with Heard.
The High Court heard last week Depp used his severed stump to write 'I love u' on a mirror after the argument in Australia.
He was quizzed over having a finger cast for his injured finger that was decorated with a "little dinosaur", which he said would have made it hard for him to grab Heard's hair as previously claimed.
Depp is accused of attacking Heard 14 times over three years - starting in 2013 when she mocked his "Wino Forever" tattoo that had been changed from "Winona Forever".
Among the explosive claims heard in court so far are allegations threw a phone at her as they argued the day after poo was found in their marital bed.
He is then said to have left her with bruises after another string of attacks before they split in May 2016.
In one, he allegedly chucked a bottle of champagne at Heard during her 30th birthday celebrations in April 2016.
And in a disturbing exchange played to the court, Depp can be heard telling his wife to "cut" him as he held a knife".
Depp has also been accused of turning his "rage and frustration" on Heard, 34, when he "failed to control" his drug and alcohol abuse.
He "descended into physically destructive behaviour" - causing him to refer to his "drunken and violent persona as 'the monster'", it was said.
The High Court last week heard allegations including:
- Amber Heard was left with a bruised face after Johnny Depp hurled a phone at her in a row over poo left in their bed
- The 57-year-old allegedly threw a magnum of champagne at Heard after her birthday
- Depp scrawled 'I love u' in his blood with a severed finger stump after a furious row
- He begged Heard to 'cut' him as he held a knife in chilling audio
- The Pirates of the Caribbean star texted Heard's dad to say sorry after he 'accidentally' headbutted her during a bust-up
But in a series of explosive revelations Depp, has branded Heard's abuse allegations "complete lies".
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he lifted the lid on their tumultuous relationship.
Depp's assistant Stephen Deuters told the court he never saw Heard with injuries - and claimed she subjected him to 'years of abuse'.
Depp told the court Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
He has brought separate libel proceedings against Heard in the US.
