Johnny Depp trashed hotel room in £8k rampage as lover Kate Moss slept in bed – but says he never hit supermodel
JOHNNY Depp trashed a hotel room in a £8,000 rampage while girlfriend Kate Moss slept as the supermodel was today dragged into his high-profile Hollywood trial.
The actor, who dated Kate when she was 20 and he was 31 in the 1990s, denied hitting her when they were together when questioned at the High Court.
Depp, 57, is said to have flown into a rage at the New York hotel in 1994 after a pal "screwed" him over.
His barrister David Sherborne asked whether the megastar offered to pay £8,000 damages he allegedly caused when he trashed the room.
The High Court heard today:
- Poo was found in the couple's marital bed by their cleaner - with Johnny Depp saying it was definitely "not left by a three or four pound dog
- The faeces had been found the morning after the couple allegedly rowed over Depp being late to Heard's 30th birthday party in April 2016
- Depp is claimed to have grabbed Heard's hair and hurled a magnum of champagne at her after she confronted him
- He then allegedly left a note that read "happy f***ing birthday"
- Heard was pictured with a bruised face after Depp allegedly threw a phone at her in May 2016
- Depp texted astonishing claims that Heard was having an affair with Elon Musk
- The Pirates of the Caribbean star trashed a hotel room in a £8,000 rampage as lover Kate Moss slept in bed - but says he never hit supermodel
- Depp claimed he stood in front of Heard with a knife "asking her to cut me"
The lawyer said: "Did you try to avoid paying damages for what you did? Did you refuse to accept responsibility for the damage?"
Depp said: "No, sir. I actually told the security guard when he came to my room that I was more than willing to pay for everything I had broken."
Mr Sherborne asked: "Where was Ms Moss?"
The actor replied: "She was in the bedroom sleeping."
Kate was just one of the famous names dragged into the Hollywood trial, where Depp is suing The Sun for labelling him a "wife-beater" in a 2018 article.
Sordid details of Depp and Heard's tumultuous relationship have been revealed after the showdown between the two started on Monday.
In an astonishing rant revealed in court today, Depp claimed Heard was having an affair with billionaire Elon Musk - adding he wanted karma to "take the gift of breath" from his ex-wife.
The SpaceX billionaire dated Heard for around a year after she split with the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Chilling audio played to the court today also heard Depp begging Heard "cut me" in a disturbing exchange.
Depp also called his ex-wife a string of extremely graphic and sexually derogatory names we have chosen not to publish.
He wrote: "She’s begging for global humiliation. She’s gonna get it.
"I have no mercy, no fear and not an ounce of emotion or what I
thought was love for this gold digging, low level, dime a dozen…
"She will hit the wall hard. I met a f***ing sublime little Russian here…which made me realise that time I blew on the 50cent stripper… I would not touch her with a goddam glove.
"I can only hope that karma kicks in and takes the gift of breath form her.
Sorry man but now I will stop at nothing.”
Depp's evidence is bringing to a close today after a dramatic four days on the stand where he has been accused of a number of allegations.
He has been accused of turning his "rage and frustration" on Heard, 34, when he "failed to control" his drug and alcohol abuse.
He "descended into physically destructive behaviour" - causing him to refer to his "drunken and violent persona as 'the monster'", it was said.
But in a series of explosive revelations Depp has made so far during evidence, the star branded Heard's abuse allegations "complete lies".
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he lifted the lid on their tumultuous relationship.
Depp told the court Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
Depp has brought separate libel proceedings against Heard in the US.
