JOHNNY Depp said he would "f**k Amber Heard's burnt corpse" in shocking texts to actor pal Paul Bettany, a court heard today.
The actor, 57, made a series of sickening outbursts to "drug buddy" Avengers star Bettany as he branded his then-wife a "witch".
Depp joked about burning and drowning Heard when she tried to stop him using drink and drugs.
The sickening texts were read at the High Court in London where Depp is suing The Sun for calling him a "wife beater" in a 2018 article.
The sensational allegations so far from day two:
- Johnny Depp allegedly slapped Amber Heard three times when she mocked his 'Wino Forever' tattoo
- It was claimed he snorted 'lines and lines of cocaine' when he was meant to be filming a Keith Richards documentary
- He told the court Heard would "chop cocaine" and "rub it on her gums"
- Depp and Heard messaged about a book called 'Disco Bloodbath' and joked it was like the violent night together, it was said
- He had allegedly hit Heard several times days before the exchange following a row about a painting by her ex-partner, Tasya van Ree
- He is accused of becoming 'obsessed' with the idea Heard was still in a relationship with the artist and tried to set the artwork alight
- Depp also allegedly held Heard's dog out the car window and made jokes about putting the Yorkshire terrier in the microwave
- The actor is also accused of trashing a trailer in a jealous drug-fuelled rage when Heard's pal "sexually touched" her
- Shocking new pictures shown to the court reveal Depp's chaotic lifestyle
- Heard branded Depp a ‘Jekyll and Hyde monster' in an email
- A recording allegedly of Depp howling was heard by the court, which the star compared to a "mating call" or an "animal in pain"
One text read: "Let’s burn Amber.”
Bettany replies: "I don’t think we should burn her. She’s delightful company and easy on the eye. Also, I’m not sure she’s a witch. We could do a drowning test first. Thoughts? PS: I have a pool.”
Depp continues the shocking rhetoric, adding: "Let’s drown her before we burn her. I will f*** her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she’s dead.”
Bettany then replies: “My thoughts entirely. Let’s be certain before we pronounce her a witch.”
Grilled about the exchange today, Depp admitted it wasn't the "most respectful way" to talk about the actress.
But he said Heard was "very aggressive and quite insulting about my use of alcohol or cocaine".
Depp added: "She was constantly harping on about things that didn’t exist. She didn’t like me using alcohol or drugs because she had some delusional idea that they turned me into a monster.”
He is continuing his evidence after making a string of shocking revelations when he took to the stand yesterday.
Among the explosive new claims made in court today was that Depp slapped Heard three times in a drunken rage after she mocked him for his "wino forever" tattoo.
It originally read "Winona Forever" - but Depp changed it to "Wino Forever" after he split up with his Edward Scissorhands co-star as it "seemed fitting".
But he is said to have slapped Heard three times after he had "fallen off the wagon" following 160 days sobriety.
Sasha Wass QC, representing The Sun, said today: "You became frustrated with Ms Heard’s mocking and you slapped Ms Heard across the face in March 2013.
“It was the first time you had used violence against her. You slapped her more than once because she didn’t react at first and that made you even more angry.”
Depp replied: “It’s not true. It didn’t happen. That is patently untrue.”
Ms Wass continued: “It was an outburst of anger on your part and you came to your senses and broke down. You started crying and apologising and said you wouldn’t hit her again.
Depp said: “I’m sorry but that’s not the truth. You are mistaken. I did not hit Ms Heard.”
The court was also told how Depp was meant to be filming a documentary about The Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards the next day when he started "snorting more and more lines of cocaine".
Heard, who had "obviously been crying", and her sister Whitney Henriquez tried for "four hours" to get Depp to make his way to the set but he "refused to leave", it was claimed.
Whitney claimed when she arrived at the home the next morning, Depp had been downing whiskey and there was broken glass and cigarette butts littering the floor.
The court was read extracts of text messages between the pair after they first started dating in March 2013.
One written by Depp reads: "Just thought you should know, there exists a book entitled 'Disco Bloodbath'. That is all."
Heard replies: "We need that book… is it about last Friday night by any chance?"
Depp then asks how she can make him smile at "such a hideous moment", before ending the message: "I f***ing love you, you c***".
Just days before the exchange, Heard claims Depp hit her several times after an argument about a painting by her ex-partner, Tasya van Ree, which was hanging in her bedroom, it was said.
He was accused of becoming "obsessed" with the idea Heard was having an affair with her ex-girlfriend and denied he tried to remove the artwork and set fire to it.
His jealousy was referred to again when Depp allegedly trashed a trailer in a drug-fuelled rage when one of Heard's pals "touched her sexually".
Ms Wass said: "You started to get angry, 'the monster' joined the party and you took exception to a woman who was in your group called Kelly Sue.
"You actually became extremely angry with Kelly Sue and became quite unpleasant, shouting at her and eventually saying to her, 'do you know how much pressure it would take to break your wrist?'"
But Depp fired back: "I removed Miss Kelly Sue's hand from Ms Heard's body and told her not to do that."
Ms Wass also referred to an incident where Depp held Heard's tiny Yorkshire terrier out a car window and began making "howling noises".
He was said to have later "laughed" at a "running joke" about putting the pooch in a microwave.
The barrister said: "When you were in the car, you were smoking and you opened the window and you were angry and you were aggressive, rather like you were in that clip we saw yesterday - the monster side of your character.
"And you took hold of Pistol and you held her out of the window and started making howling noises."
The actor responded: "I can say it is a very endearing image, but it is absolute utter falsity, it is fraudulent."
Heard smiled as she arrived for day two of the showdown today after pulling her red bandana down for the waiting photographers.
She looked smart in a black belted dress and waved as she made her way up the steps to the entrance of the court.
Depp also appeared in a good mood as he beamed at the waiting crowds.
The star showed off his many tattoos as he pointed up at the sky before disappearing inside the court for another day of grilling.
In an email written by Heard to Depp, which was never sent, Heard told him: "I just don't know if I can do this anymore. It is like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
"Half of you I love madly, and the other half scares me. I can't take him. I wish I could, but I can't. The problem is, I never really know/understand which one I'm dealing with until it's too late.
"The drinking assures me that I am dealing with the monster. The abused, scared, insecure, violent little boy. I just can't tell where the line starts."
Depp was yesterday accused of turning his "rage and frustration" on Heard, 34, when he "failed to control" his drug and alcohol abuse.
He "descended into physically destructive behaviour" - causing him to refer to his "drunken and violent persona as 'the monster'", it was said.
The revelations made in yesterday's bombshell opening:
- Johnny Depp referred to his 'drunken and violent persona' as 'the monster
- The star admitted in evidence he first took drugs aged 11
- He said he had tried 'every drug known to man' by age 14
- Amber Heard told Depp 'grow the f*** up' in explosive recordings
- Depp accused Heard of severing his finger and released a photo of the wound
- He admitted to spending £23,834 a month in wine - but claimed he didn't drink it all himself
- Depp also emailed Sir Elton John to celebrate 100 days sober - and referred to his "brain and liver resembling Mrs Thatcher"
- The star referred to the mother of his children Vanessa Paradis as the "pain the a**e French ex albatross"
- He also claimed he vowed to end the marriage when he found poo in their marital bed
But in a series of explosive revelations Depp made during evidence yesterday, the star branded Heard's abuse allegations "complete lies".
And he called his ex-wife “calculating, sociopathic and emotionally dishonest” as he lifted the lid on their tumultuous relationship.
Depp told the court Heard severed his finger during a trip to Australia in 2015 by throwing a vodka bottle at him and accused her of repeatedly punching him in the face.
He also bizarrely claimed he resolved to divorce the actress after finding her poo in the bed.
The Hollywood wildchild also laid bare his chaotic Tinsel Town lifestyle - including"mega pints" of wine for breakfast and a £20,000 monthly booze bill.
Depp admitted he first took drugs aged just 11 - and had tried every substance "known to man" just three years later.
He also told the court he emailed Sir Elton John to celebrate 100 days sober - and referred to his "brain and liver resembling Mrs Thatcher".
