Inside EuroMillions winner Adrian Bayford’s six-bed £6.5m mansion with 189 acres and pool on sale for ‘£1m loss’
EUROMILLIONS winner Adrian Bayford has put his amazing six-bed mansion on the market - but is set to make a £1million loss.
Ex-postie Adrian paid £6,085,250 for the 189-acre estate with then wife Gillian following their £147million win in 2012 - but is marketing it for just £6.5m eight years later.
To beat inflation and break even he would have to sell the 189-acre country estate, in Cambridgeshire, for £7,239,896.
But pals say that comes nowhere near covering the estimated £2million he has spent upgrading the home, adding staff living quarters and a leisure centre and swimming pool.
He also upgraded all the stables, equestrian facilities and added miles of fencing when an ex persuaded him to try his hand as a farmer.
Pals say Adrian is so desperate to be rid of the mansion where Gillian divorced him and two girlfriends dumped him because it is a constant reminder of his awful luck.
The dad-of-two also sees the property as the place where he was betrayed by close pals he now no longer talks to.
A friend said: “Adrian and Gillian had such bright hopes when they bought that house, but it has just never worked out.
“They split quickly after moving in and she went to Scotland with the children.
“Then Adrian thought he had found love with Sam - but she ran out with the horses he bought her."
They added: “Adrian and Gillian had such bright hopes when they bought that house, but it has just never worked out.

“Then Adrian thought he had found love with Sam - but she ran out with the horses he bought her.
“Then there was Lisa, who we all really hoped he might make it work with - but that fell apart too.
“Adrian is very picky about who he surrounds himself with now. He is such a nice guy he really deserves to be happy.
“That house was so big and showy, it was never really him. He was always happy with simple things.
“That is why he moved to Scotland - he was just rattling around in there with corridors full of bad memories.”
Pictures show the opulent lifestyle Adrian’s mega Euromillions win afforded him, with pop art and rock memorabilia mounted on walls above luxury furniture.
The Grade II mansion comes with its own cinema, billiards room and bar and has a full gym and pool with changing rooms.
It had an adjoining three-bed annex as well as five separate cottages and stables for dozens of horses and a walled garden.
Unlucky-in-love Adrian has been dumped three times since his split from Gillian - first, by Polish sausage factory worker Marta Jarosz, 36.
