Mr Blyth used the work of an expert who matched cells from people with natural cancer immunity to tumour sufferers.
He found these can be made in a lab, removing the need for donors.
Mr Blyth, of Brighton, who has raised £250,000 through crowdfunding, said: “It gives us the basic building blocks for a whole new type of innate cell therapy.”
