The One Nation group led by Amber Rudd is relaunching ahead of the leadership election

It comes as Boris cements his frontrunner status by pulling in cash from donors and taking aim at leadership rivals.

The One Nation Conservative group led by Amber Rudd, David Gauke and Greg Clark is relaunching tomorrow.

They are mobilising to stop the election of a new PM who would push for a No Deal Brexit.

Senior members including ex-Education Secretary Nicky Morgan today laid out their policy platform - calling for tough action on climate change, more cash for public services and the protection of human rights.

: "All of us believe that the next Prime Minister must honour the EU referendum result.

"But they must do so in a way that unites the 52 per cent and the 48 per cent.

"To do so would mean Brexit can be the bold moment of change it should be."

Backing the call, Ms Rudd said: "There are no simple answers to complex questions. A pragmatic, compassionate centre right has never been more vital."

And Sir Nicholas Soames blasted: "We cannot succumb to the comfort blanket of populism."

Rory Stewart, a member of the group who is standing for the leadership, also spoke out against No Deal today.

He said, "People haven't thought about the fact that it's not a thing" - pointing out Britain would still have to negotiate a trade deal even if we leave on WTO terms.
