THE Tories should team up with Nigel Farage at the next election to get Brexit delivered, a top Conservative MP said today.

Veteran Crispin Blunt wants the two parties to agree not to compete against each other.

It comes as Mr Farage has vowed that even Remainers will end up voting for his party in protest at politicians defying democracy.

Mr Blunt admitted that the pro-Brexit vote is being split between the Brexit Party and the Tories.

He told the BBC last night: "If we under a new leader reinvent ourselves properly as a Brexit party, we will be faced with the inevitability at some point of a general election in order to deliver Brexit because this Parliament is stopping the delivery of Brexit.

"The Conservatives as a Brexit party are almost certainly going to have to go into some kind of electoral arrangement with the Brexit Party, otherwise Brexit doesn’t happen.

"My suggestion would be the Brexit Party runs in the seats that we don’t hold."

That would mean sitting Tory MPs wouldn't have to worry about a challenge from Mr Farage's candidates in their own constituencies.

But it could stop the Conservatives picking up the extra seats they'd need to get a majority.

The Brexit Party leader today insisted that Remain voters are flocking to support him because they want to uphold the democratic verdict of the 2016 referendum.

Mr Farage also vowed not to discuss his party's policies until after next Thursday's Euro elections are over.

He told LBC: "I'm not going to talk about other domestic issues because that would cloud one of the fundamental questions in centuries - are we a democratic country or not?"

Yesterday he vowed to work with any party which promises to deliver a clean-break Brexit.

Mr Farage suggested he'd "do a deal with a devil" and prop up Jeremy Corbyn in return for a deal on quitting the EU.
