The Brexit Party leader denounced Theresa May as 'the worst Prime Minister in my lifetime'
BRITAIN should quit the EU now and start talks with Brussels from outside, Nigel Farage blasted today.
The Brexit Party leader said his alternative plan would see the UK leave with No Deal as soon as possible.
He would then open negotiations on a free-trade deal with the EU, Mr Farage told ITV's Good Morning Britain.
The Brexiteer said: "To honour the democratic vote of the people and the promises that were made, the only thing we can do is leave on WTO terms.
"Once we have left then we can negotiate a free-trade deal."
The move would mean Britain leaving without paying a divorce bill, then negotiating how much we should hand over to Brussels afterwards.
Mr Farage hit out at Theresa May, saying: "She is without doubt not only the worst Prime Minister in my lifetime but the most dishonest Prime Minister."
He accused her of failing to push for a Canada-style free-trade deal and instead of tying Britain to the EU permanently with her Brexit agreement.
The Brexit Party is on course to come top in the European elections on May 23.
Mr Farage has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds from wealthy donors to fund his new party.
But he today refused to reveal their identity, saying he'll only publish their names when he is legally obliged to do so.
The party boss yesterday called on Tory-supporting businessmen to start giving money to the Brexit Party instead.
