Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party candidates revealed as Special Forces veteran and ex-Communist as it tries to pinch Labour voters

NIGEL Farage has unveiled a Special Forces veteran, an ex-Communist and a smoked salmon producer as Brexit party candidates to stand in the upcoming election.

Ahead of polls next month he vowed to target Labour heartlands who were furious that our EU exit still hasn't been delivered.

After he shocked Westminster by revealing Jacob Rees-Mogg's sister Annunziata would be standing for the Brexit Party, today Mr Farage unveiled a series of other names who would stand for an election.

"There are five million people that voted for Jeremy Corbyn and voted for Brexit as well, and that's going to be our task," Mr Farage said today.

"I think we will go on squeezing the Conservatives and squeezing Ukip down to virtually nothing.

"We're going to go after that Labour vote in a very big way."

He dismissed his private school background and told the rally: "You can't choose your parents."

James Glancy, a Royal Marine veteran said he was running for the Brexiteer group led by the ex-Ukip boss because the current leadership was "humiliating the British public".

He said politicians were "undermining democracy".

In a warning shot to the Tories, MP Lucy Allan said the party were unveiling "some fantastic candidates".

Other candidates included former member of the Revolutionary Community Party, Claire Fox, as revealed by The Sun today.

And ex-nurse Christina Jordan and smoke salmon producer Lance Foreman are also running.

The latter added: "To be honest, I found the transition from politics to oily fish was quite straightforward."

Last week the Brexit Party sent shockwaves through Westminster with a bombshell poll which put them on track to WIN the EU elections.

Theresa May's said she doesn't want Britain to fight them, almost three years after we voted to Leave, but if a deal isn't in place within a month then she will have no choice to.

The Tories are set for a drubbing in both next month's locals and the Euro poll - if it happens.

She's still pinning her hopes on a cross-party Brexit deal with Labour but the chats don't appear to have produced anything of substance yet.

If she can't get an agreement done she's promised MPs she will take Brexit back to the Commons, so they can decide on what happens next.
