THERESA May was today plunged into her worst row yet with her DUP "allies" - as the party leader dubbed her "foolish".
Arlene Foster also called the PM "disorganised and slapdash" after she asked Brussels to delay Brexit again.
And Tory MPs hit back at the DUP, claiming the party is letting down its voters in Northern Ireland.
The extraordinary public row casts doubt on whether the Unionists will continue propping up the Tories - or collapse the Government and trigger a General Election.
Mrs Foster slammed the PM after Mrs May wrote to the EU asking to delay Brexit until June 30.
She blasted: “The Prime Minister’s latest plea to Brussels for an extension to Article 50 is unsurprising but unsatisfactory.
"The United Kingdom fighting European elections almost three years after a clear majority voted to leave the EU sums up the disorganised and slapdash approach taken to negotiations by the Prime Minister.
"We want a sensible deal which protects the Union and respects the referendum result but it was foolish strategically in the negotiations to limit the UK’s leverage by removing No Deal from the table."

The DUP boss added: "The Prime Minister should not waste any extension by subcontracting the UK’s future to Jeremy Corbyn."
The Northern Irish party has agreed to keep Mrs May in power in return for £1billion in funding for the province.
But with relations getting increasingly poisonous, the chances are rising of an early General Eleciton.
Brexiteer MP Daniel Kawczynski accused the DUP of failing its supporters by blocking the PM's Brexit plan.

He said: "All the feedback I am getting from Northern Ireland leads me to believe citizens there want withdrawal agreement backed by Commons.
"Perhaps DUP not reflecting mood of Northern Ireland in Commons?"
The DUP have repeatedly refused to vote for Mrs May's deal - and threatened to collapse the Government if it goes through without their support.
