A MEMBER of a child grooming gang has been given extra prison time after trolling one of his victims on Facebook.

Waseem Khaliq got ten years’ jail last month for indecent assault and child abduction.

But his sentence was extended by 45 months on Monday after he admitted witness intimidation.

Paedophile Khaliq had set up a Facebook account after he was charged, claiming to be an investigative journalist looking into the probe in Rotherham, South Yorks.

The pervert targeted his victim and her friends with fake claims she was lying, Sheffield crown court heard.

Khaliq, 35, of the city, then phoned the National Crime Agency from jail and threatened two officers probing the crime.
