Labour’s Brexit policy is a national laughing stock and reveals contempt for three million of its own voters
LABOUR’S Brexit policy, rightly now a national laughing stock, reveals a staggering contempt for three million of its own voters.
It sounded improbable when “Shadow Justice Secretary” Richard Burgon first uttered it out loud — and, with respect, he IS as thick as two short planks.
Now, though, Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry has confirmed it:
A Labour Government would “negotiate a better deal” with Brussels, then campaign against it in order to Remain.
Even Marxist morons cannot seriously believe the EU would waste a nanosecond on such a nonsense. And that reveals two things about Corbyn’s mob:
First, they HAVE finally decided to abandon all their Leave voters. Second, they intend to insult their intelligence too, by assuming them too dim to see through such a transparent con-trick.
Labour should simply state: “In power, we would scrap Brexit.” Yes, it would be shameful and, in a country where trust in politicians is already nearly the lowest in Europe, insanely dangerous.
But at least Corbyn would for once be telling the truth.
Meddler Miller
CAN the world’s worst loser Gina Miller really not hear her own revolting hypocrisy?
“I will not give up the fight for democracy,” she bleats as her legal bid to stop the PM suspending Parliament is chucked out.
This is a rich woman using her millions to meddle in politics while refusing to stand for election. A woman bent on overturning the biggest mandate in our history because she doesn’t like it.
A woman whose Remainer pals are running scared of an election Boris Johnson might win.
The only vote they want is a second referendum biased for Remain. But if they can get away with simply cancelling Brexit, all the better.
Here’s the only democracy Miller likes:
One where she and her powerful, know-all London friends get their way — and the ignorant little people can go to hell.
Migrant misery
“ANY EU citizens in Britain legally must be told unequivocally they can stay.”
So said The Sun just after the 2016 referendum. It was Vote Leave’s stance too.
It is still Boris Johnson’s position now.
“Under this Government,” he says, “they will have the absolute certainty for the right to live and remain.”

Applying to stay is pretty straight- forward. Many have done so. But the number falling prey to Home Office carelessness or negligence is appalling.
No one who has lived and worked here legally for years should be suddenly sent letters wrongly declaring them ineligible. Each one inflicts unimaginable fear and stress.
Home Secretary Priti Patel must grasp that and fire officials who can’t get it right.
