Corbyn’s shameful hate mob are the ones staging a Marxist coup with anti-Brexit, anti-Boris marches
DURING the past week, we have seen the biggest manufactured display of fake outrage I can recall about what Remainers termed a democratic outrage.
Yet the real outrage going on is the behaviour of Jeremy Corbyn and his acolytes.
Using Boris Johnson’s prorogation of Parliament as cover, the Labour leader has called for activists to “shut down” Britain’s cities, while the hard-left Momentum urged them to “occupy bridges and blockade roads”.
Now it’s busy organising “Stop the Coup” protests to try and bring the Government down by Marxist-inspired direct action.
Corbyn has gone further, calling for MPs to join protests opposing Parliament’s suspension in his determination to stop Brexit.
His supporter Clive Lewis is calling on people to take to the streets. Shadow chancellor John McDonnell compared Boris Johnson to Hitler, stirring up Momentum.
Corbyn’s hard left supporters have published the home addresses of Jacob Rees-Mogg in a clear bid to incite protests against him and his family.
Some Remainers appear to have been driven mad by Brexit, hurling abuse and vile threats.
Author Philip Pullman tweeted that he thinks of a “rope” and “the nearest lamp-post” when he hears Mr Johnson’s name.
Given these threats, my biggest concern is the way some of my colleagues in the Conservative Party are going along with all this.
I’m appalled Ken Clarke has decided he would be prepared to back a Marxist government led by Corbyn, or that others in my party think it OK to work with McDonnell.

And Conservatives fighting marginal seats who have to put up with vile abuse from hard left Labour members will shake their heads at the actions of their senior colleagues.
Tories who work with Corbyn must realise that by forcing the Government to ask for an extension they will strip away its negotiating leverage. It will lead to a failure to deliver Brexit and almost certainly pave the way for the worst outcome, a Corbyn government.
Co-operating with Corbyn is something no Conservative should countenance given all he stands for. I urge my colleagues to reconsider their actions, step away from Corbyn and give Boris Johnson the scope to get that deal.
