Dog the Bounty Hunter’s heartache as he admits his family has ‘fallen apart’ after wife Beth Chapman’s cancer death
DOG the Bounty Hunter fought back tears as he admitted his life has fallen apart since the death of his wife Beth Chapman.
Chapman died in June of this year after an 18-month battle with cancer.

Speaking to US TV show People Now, Dog, real name Duane Chapman, spoke about how the couple's children were coping with the loss, and said he feared the family "will fall apart".
"Each one copes differently, there is a few that really barely making it," he said.
"We don’t know what to do. We haven’t read, we weren’t prepared.
"I lost my mother first, and when my mom passed away, I’m like, 'I wish dad would have died first, you know, cause I love my mommy.'
"So I went to them and said, 'I’m so sorry that I didn’t die first and mom did.'
"And they were like, ‘Yeah dad, why?'
"So I was like, ‘Oh my god, I know what that feels like, I should’ve been the one. The guy goes first.’
"So that’s hard for them."
'I'M THE SOFTIE OF THE GROUP'
Beth was first diagnosed with stage-two cancer in November 2017 and later developed stage-four lung cancer.
She had two children - Bonnie, 20, and Garry, 18 - with Duane and two others - Dominic Davis, 34 and Cecily Chapman, 26 - from previous relationships.
Duane also became Cecily's adoptive father.
"I guess I’m the softie of the group, because I never wanted to punish," Duane continued.
"I said, ‘Your mom is gonna get you if you don’t do that.’
"So now I gotta be the one that does that, and I don’t like that and they don’t either.
"Its not been that long.
"They are helping cook, because Beth was a fantastic cook.
"I am doing their laundry, I’m vacuuming, making my own bed.
"So I don’t wanna lie, they do nothing.
"They’re kids... It’s just, ‘Dad’s there, he can do it.’"

Duane shot to fame in 2004 with Dog The Bounty Hunter, a reality series chronicling his experiences locating and arresting people who had breached their bail agreements.
The show was an instant hit, with viewers drawn in by Chapman's street smarts, his team, and his attempts to rehabilitate and counsel the people he was able to track down.
The show ended in 2012 after eight seasons and was replaced in 2013 by Dog and Beth: On The Hunt, a spin-off series starring both Duane and Beth.
