Ryder Cup winner Thorbjorn Olesen denies drunkenly groping stewardess’s breast and urinating in aisle on first class flight to Heathrow
RYDER Cup winner Thorbjorn Olesen has today denied groping a stewardess' breast on a first class flight to Heathrow.
The golf star, 29, is accused of drunkenly kissing the woman's neck and hand before urinating in the aisle while flying to London.
Uxbridge Magistrate's Court today heard he was then arrested as the flight landed on July 29 - charged with sexual assault, being drunk on an aircraft and assault by beating.
The five-time European Tour winner was returning from a US golf tournament at the time of the flight.
Today, the Danish star spoke only to confirm his name, address, date of birth and nationality, as well as indicating not guilty pleas as he faced court.
He is now expected to face trial.
Rav Chodha, prosecuting, said that, if convicted, Olesen should face a "mid to high level community order" or even a three weeks custodial sentence.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were waiting for Olesen, of Kensington, West London, when the aircraft landed at Heathrow.

The Danish national was arrested and later released under investigation.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed Olesen was then charged by postal requisition on August 1.
Paul Morris, Olesen's lawyer, said in a statement: "Thorbjorn has co-operated fully with the police during their investigation, but while the legal proceedings are still ongoing he unfortunately cannot comment on this matter."
Olesen was granted unconditional bail when the case was adjourned to Isleworth Crown Court on September 18.
He has been suspended by the European Tour, pending the outcome of the case.
The world No 64, who has been as high as No 33, had been due to play in the Scandinavian Invitation in Gothenburg, starting tomorrow.
