Brits don’t back Jeremy Corbyn’s plan to boot out Boris – and two thirds say he’d be a bad caretaker PM
BRITS do not back Jeremy Corbyn’s plot to boot out Boris and the majority think he’d be a BAD caretaker PM, a damning poll has revealed.
Nearly half of voters think the Labour leader’s government of unity is a bad idea as he plots to take over at No10 to stop a No Deal Brexit.
Forty four per cent of people oppose Corbyn’s plan while 37 per cent think he should boot Boris out of Downing Street.
But 19 per cent of those polled by YouGov remain undecided on the Islington North MP’s rebellion plot.
JEZ LEAVE HIM IN
Unsurprisingly 77 per cent of Tory voters oppose the idea of Corbyn forming a temporary administration while 66 per cent of Labour voters back the idea.
The damning poll is a fresh knock for Corbyn’s plan to launch a rebellion at No10 after his letter to Tory rebels and Eurosceptics last week.
The Labour boss wants to table a no confidence vote in Boris Johnson in an effort to block No Deal – before taking over as a temporary PM.
But the public are not as confident in his leadership as Corbynistas.
Just 15 per cent thought he would be a good choice as leader compared to the more than four times that number who disagreed - with 63 per cent against the idea.
The remaining 22 per cent of voters said they don’t know if Corbyn would be the right man to lead Britain through Brexit.
While voters are against the Labour boss in Downing Street – his plot has been widely mocked by other MPs with Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson suggesting he is too "divisive" to lead a government of unity.

Instead she called for Tory grandee Ken Clarke and senior Labour MP Harriet Harman to take control in the wake of a no confidence vote.
On Friday Corbyn said he was “disappointed” Swinson did not back him.
He told the BBC: “We are going to put a motion of no confidence in this government in order to have a general election so the British people have the chance on their own future and prevent a No Deal exit from the European Union.
“I thought Jo Swinson supported that position and I hope she will come around to it.”
