The actor suggested getting someone to shoot Boris, 55, was the best way to stop him running the country, the reports.

He told the crowd: “He is such a stain. He needs to be gone as quick as possible.”

He then added: “Maybe we could shoot him.”

The actor then backtracked, saying: “I’m joking. This is on YouTube… I’m joking. It’s being watched by the Government."

SAFETY CONCERNS

Craig’s controversial remarks come amid concerns over the safety of politicians.

Westminster insiders fear a higher risk of being targeted as a result of Brexit.

Labour MP Jo Cox was shot and stabbed to death outside her constituency surgery in Yorkshire three years ago.

And last week, a pro-Brexit campaigner was sent to prison for taunting former Tory MP Heidi Allen with "threatening” tweets.

In May, Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage had a milkshake thrown at him in Newcastle during his campaign.

'Corbynista' Paul Crowther, 32, was charged with common assault and criminal damage, cops confirmed.

In June, comedian Jo Brand was accused of "inciting violence" after she said politicians should have battery acid thrown at them instead of milkshakes.

The telly star, 61, was appearing on BBC Radio 4 when she joked about recent milkshake attacks on politicians, which included one hurled at the Brexit Party leader.

Johnson has this week ordered all civil servants to make preparing for a possible No Deal Brexit their "top priority".

The PM wrote to thousands of mandarins saying they must ramp up No Deal planning to get the country fighting fit for Halloween.

It came as Chancellor Sajid Javid said Britain would come out of a No Deal “stronger and more resilient”.
