Instagram snappers get up close and personal with nature’s most beautiful creatures in stunning photos

AROUND 50,000 photographs have already been entered into the Pipa's - the Photobox Instagram photography Awards - after just one month.

This year the focus has been on macro photography, which is the art of getting exceptional close-up shots of the subject.

The winner is still to be announced by the competition is already fierce with someone set to walk off with the top prize of £5,000.

But by the look of these pictures, the panel of judges will have their work cut out deciding a winner.

Along with the top prize 10 other entrants will win £500 each.
