THIS is the terrifying moment a children's rollercoaster derailed in Brazil, leaving three people injured.
The Worm ride at a theme park in Cianorte collapsed with roughly a dozen passengers onboard, while horrified onlookers watched the terrifying ordeal unfold.
The video, taken by an onlooker, shows the Worm ride start out at a slow pace, before gradually getting quicker after each turn.
As the ride travels towards the camera's direction, it speeds up, before making a sharp turn.
The turn then derails the ride, throwing riders off the structure completely.
The ordeal took place in the evening of last Wednesday.
It happened at a festival in the town of Cianorte, Brazil, on a ride they call Minhocão but Stateside is known as the Pinafari Wacky Worm.
The video shows the coaster rounding the track and derailing, sending the children and adults on the ride hurtling off the track.
Three people were left with injuries and had to be treated at a local hospital.
Prior to the incident, the theme park's ride underwent three safety inspections by the Council, reported .
The ride was also inspected after the derailing, with the owner claiming the rides are "inspected frequently and tested daily before the opening of the site."
Officials are investigating what exactly caused the derailment.
Last year, a rollercoaster in Florida sent two thrill-seekers plunging 34ft as dozens were left hanging in mid-air after the ride derailed above Daytona Beach boardwalk.
