A SAVAGE brawl in McDonald's left an angry customer on the ground as he was rugby tackled by an employee after walking into the kitchen.
The shocking video shows bystanders screaming in horror as a female McDonald’s worker carries a McFlurry while laughing as the violence unfolds.
The ordeal took place at the McDonald’s branch in Hoxton, East London and the clip is believed to have been filmed last weekend.
The video begins with a group of McDonald’s male and female workers wrestling and pushing the enraged customer – who has trespassed into the restaurant kitchen.
Bystanders can be heard screaming in disbelief and a female McDonald’s employee is seen giggling at the ensuing violence as she takes a McFlurry to a customer.
There is a vicious tussle between the restaurant staff and the man – and then one of the female workers shoves the customer so that he almost stumbles backwards.
This infuriates the male customer who kicks and punches a McDonald’s male employee.
The employee then immediately charged towards him and wrestled him to the ground.
Onlookers shrieked in horror as another employee then helped pin the customer to the ground and shoved their hands in his face.
Eventually co-workers intervene and try to break up the fight.
They desperately try to separate the customer and the employee – however the angry customer continues to throw blows as the clip cuts to an end.
It is unknown who filmed the footage and why the altercation erupted between the pair but the clip has been circulating on social media since yesterday.
It is also unknown if any arrests have been made.
Social media users were stunned by the violence in the clip.
One Twitter user called the brawl “crazy” whilst another user wrote “Theirs always summat going on in either McDonald’s or KFC” [sic]
While others appeared to sympathise with the McDonald’s workers in the video.
Another person wrote that McDonald’s employees earn “£8 an hour and they expected to fight trespassers smh”
While another remarked on the employee’s energetic takedown of the male patron: “McDonald’s staff jus aint having it no more”
In a statement, McDonald's told Sun Online: "The safety and security of our people and customers is our absolute priority.
"When a man entered the kitchen acting aggressively, the restaurant team took action to remove him."
