Boris Johnson moves into £1.3m mansion with girlfriend Carrie Symonds after selling £3.7m marital home with his ex and becoming Prime Minister
THIS is the £1.3million home that newly appointed Prime Minister Boris Johnson has snapped up with girlfriend Carrie Symonds.
Boris, 55, bought the four-storey Victorian property after selling his £3.7m marital home with his ex-wife Marina Wheeler.
He could make at least a £700,000 profit from the sale of the Grade II listed pad in Islington, North London, if he splits the profits equally with Marina.
Boris Johnson is expected to move into No 10 today with Carrie joining him at the weekend - making them the first unmarried couple to live in the PM’s official residence.
But he and Carrie, 31, are still believed to have taken out a joint mortgage on their new home and completed on the property last week, reported
A sales brochure describes the property as a “superb residence”.
The happy couple haven’t been seen together at their new pad, but Carrie was spotted at the property with her mum moving items in.
Carrie was nowhere to be seen during Boris’ celebrations after the announcement today that he had bested fellow candidate Jeremy Hunt.
