She had been bludgeoned to death - with a post-mortem confirming blunt force trauma to the head and face.

Cops today confirmed a 54-year-old man arrested in connection with her death and said Diane knew her attacker.

Police officers were scrambled to the private block of apartments at 11.10pm on Thursday following concerns for her welfare.

They discovered Diane unresponsive and suffering from head injuries. She was declared dead at the scene.
