BORIS Johnson tonight refused to say whether or not he will move girlfriend Carrie Symonds in to No10 with him next week.
The frontrunner to be next PM insisted he would keep his private life secret even if he makes it to Downing Street.
He refused to comment on Carrie, 31, during tonight’s Sun leadership debate - despite the nationwide furore after police were called to their flat during a massive row last month.
Pressed by presenter Tom Newton Dunn, Mr Johnson said: “I took a decision ages ago when I became Mayor of London that I just don’t talk about people I love.
“I’ve had a pretty ruthless rule about not commenting on that side of thing.”
He added: “I don’t want to get into any kind of presumptuous theorising about living in Downing Street at all.”
Mr Hunt - who paid a gushing tribute to his wife Lucia during the debate hosted by The Sun and talkRADIO - broke in and joked: “I can answer that question - he’ll be living with me, I’ll be at No10 and he’ll be at No11.”
11 Downing Street is the traditional residence of the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
Mr Johnson replied: “It’s breaking out into outrageous harmony - it’s got to stop.”

Asked again whether he would live in 10 Downing Street again, BoJo said: “I did answer the question in the sense that I declined to comment. That’s as much as you’re going to get out of me.”
Mr Johnson and Miss Symonds, a former head of communications for the Tories, got together last year after his marriage to Marina broke down.
They moved in together in South London but left the flat after their neighbours recorded them having an argument, called the police and gave the recording to the Press.
