Royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle meet showbiz royalty Beyonce and Jay Z at star-studded Lion King premiere
MEGHAN Markle hugged Beyonce as the royal couple met showbiz royalty at the Lion King premiere in London this evening.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived on the red carpet holding hands before they watched the updated Disney classic in Leicester Square.

The royal couple warmly greeted Beyonce and Jay-Z before chatting with Elton John, who briefly whispered in Meghan's ear.
Beyonce gushed over baby Archie as the two power couples met for the first time tonight.
The Drunk In Love singer told Meghan: "We love you guys. Your baby is so beautiful."
Meghan and Harry reportedly talked about parenthood with the pair, who have three children of their own - two-year-old twins Rumi and Sir Carter, and seven-year-old Blue Ivy.
Jay-Z gave the new parents the advice of "always find time for yourself".
He and Beyonce disappointed fans by not walking the orange carpet after arriving late to the European premiere at The Odeon Luxe cinema in Leicester Square.
The couple also met singer Pharrell Williams, who collaborated on the soundtrack for the film.
Meghan was given a bouquet, a book and a Simba toy for Archie by Evie Chambers, 12, and Valentina Walker, 12, whose parents are Disney executives.
Meghan, 37, looked comfortable as she posed for photographers alongside Prince Harry, 34, while they beamed at the star-studded event.
This is the duchess' second appearance of the weekend, despite being on maternity leave, after she watched her friend Serena Williams play in the Wimbledon final alongside sister-in-law Kate Middleton, 37, yesterday.
The new mum wore a Jason Wu Mesh Panel Flared Dress with the price tag of £3,454.
She carried a small black Gucci clutch bag that cost £1,680.
The royal's outfit was polished off with a pair of Aquazurra Portrait Of Lady Sling pumps worth £640.
Harry and Meghan met the cast and crew before watching the film as they attended to show their support in aid of conservation work through The Royal Foundation.
For the film's release, Disney announced the Protect The Pride campaign, aimed at raising awareness of dwindling lion numbers.
The Royal Foundation will be involved with and support the campaign.

Buckingham Palace said: "The Duke of Sussex has taken a deep personal interest in frontline conservation projects that work to protect Africa's natural heritage and support both wildlife and local communities."
Beyonce voices Nala in the live-action version of the 1994 Disney animated classic.
As well as voicing the lioness, Beyonce has created a musical tribute to the film - teaming up with some of her favourite artists for the album The Lion King: The Gift.
The singer has already been tipped for an Oscar - with fans predicting she will win the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
Speaking about her new album, Beyonce said: “This is sonic cinema.

“This is a new experience of storytelling. I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film.
";It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, pop, hip-hop and Afro Beat.”
The movie also stars Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones, who reprised his role as Mufasa from the 1994 film, and comics Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as Timon and Pumbaa.
